Happy Halloween!!!

Happy Halloween Everybody!

I was such a slacker this weekend because we were so busy!  I am hoping to start working out tomorrow or sometime very soon!

Andrew had his first stand up show last night!  He totally killed it!!!  Soo amazing for his first time... and has a really strong stage presence!  I could not be more proud of my babe! :)  You can check him out below!  And follow him on thatmoviesawesome.com

I also made Cosmo "Pup cakes" yesterday... which smelt sooo amazing I wanted to eat one!  Today she is 6 years old!!! 
The frosting is purple.. but you can't really tell!


This weekend was really great!  We were around Great people all weekend!  I also realized that Andrew has the most amazing support team!  In order for him to perform he needed 2 people to come with him.  He had about 20 people show up to support him and cheer him on!  Soo awesome and so much fun!  I cannot wait for him to perform again!  Although I think I may have been more nervous than he was! 

Anyway, I cannot wait to go home to my loves... all 3 of them! :)

Tonight I am going to cook chicken parm with pasta for dinner!  One of Andrew's favorites... and mine too!  Yum! 

Today I am having serious issues focusing at work!  I just want to be home and am dreading my commute home!  ick! :/

Anyway!  Much love to everyone that come out to see Andrew last night... you are all amazing, and hopefully you all didn't show up an hour late for work like me... whoops!  :)

Love everyone to pieces!  Today is a good day & I am totally not motivated at all to wake up early tomorrow and work out!  Bummer.

Laugh it off.

Have you ever been in a really stressed out, frustrated mood in traffic and just leaned on your horn at the person in front of you doing 50 mph in the fast lane.. when there is no one in front of them and the weather is fine?  I have!  I used to commute to work from Plympton to Randolph... worst commute ever!  Loved my horn.  But this morning the person just pretty much laughed at me once they got over... which annoyed me even more!  Looking back I realize that I took things wayyy too seriously and I was wayyyyyy too stressed out!  Not to say I still don't take things too seriously or get stressed out... but I think I am a lot better than I was then!

Anywayyyyy the point of that awesome little story is that I did not work out this morning... AGAIN!  But I am fine with it because there's not point in stressing about it!  I will be mad at myself in December for sure!  But last night I had a kitten snuggled up next to me that just wanted to play and play she did!  I woke up to her rubbing her head on my face and curling up next to my neck!  I think that waking up every 2 hours to play with Stella totally trumps waking up in the morning to work out!  So, because of that I do not care and won't get stressed about it!  There's no need to worry!  I will get in shape before we go!!!  Even if I have to work out twice a day the week before we leave!  I will get there... I just procrastinate! 






I really hope it doesn't snow this weekend!

Stellllllllaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Ok sooo... def didn't work out this morning like I was planning to before my dr appt!  The kitten is too cute and she was snuggled next to me in bed and then she rolled over on her back so I could rub her belly and she was try to play!  Too freaking cute!!!!!!  I love her and I didn't even think I was a cat person!  Plus her and Cosmo are THE CUTEST together!  Stella (kitten) rubs up against Cosmo and Cosmo licks her... I just want to put them in my pocket and take them everywhere with me!  But that would be an awkwardly large pocket.. haha <3

Soo yeah I did not work out today.. but will try to tomorrow and maybe sat morning.  No matter what I am starting week 2 next week of my dvd.

Waaahhhhh to day 21

Sooo last night was sooo fun!  I drank a little too much wine and stayed up a little too late... I think we were up until like 10ish!  Lol... soo late for me on a work night, but totally worth it!

Dinner went well, and our friend (Alex) brought over amazing desserts for us to all split!  Sooo good!  We also played the very competitive game of "you don't know jack" on our PS3!  Very fun!

This morning I was a little thrown off because Andrew went into work late, so I slept in a little later than usual so I did not work out... wahh.  Oh well!  I did walk to south station last night though! woo!  Today is so rainy, gross and cold... I highly doubt I will be walking to south station tonight! 

I am pretty much stuck in the basement of the office today organizing the filing cabinets... who ever did the filing before had 2007-2011 in the drawer that is only supposed to have 2011.... Soooo annoying!  The drawer was literally jam packed... could not fit anything else in there... and now that I have organized it, the 2011 folders literally take up 1/4 of the cabinet!  SOOOO insane!

After this I am off to organize the rest of 2011... then 2010.... parrrttttayyyyy woooo!

So excited to get our kitten tonight!!!! :)  (As long as we find one that we really love!)  I can't wait!  Cosmo will be so excited... I hope!  Hopefully I'll have pictures to post tomorrow of our new Family member!!

-Oh yeah!  Chara (from the Bruins) lives in the building that I work in... which was insane after they won the stanley cup!  But yesterday I was walking to the train and I saw him and his wife walking their baby!  So cute!  I was really thrown off at first bc I was like wait a second... lol!  So great to see when Famous people are just like regular people!

I can't believe it's day 20 already... Panic kicks in!

Yikes!  Day 20????  Only 1 month and 9 days left until we leave for Barbados!  Yay!  Sooo exciting yet so scary!  I don't feel like I am seeing any results!  Although I am getting my lady friend this week... awesome!  It's like a 2 week process of feeling blah and bloated for me!  Theee worst! 

This morning I couldn't get up with my alarm so I took Cosmo for a short walk this morning and then did my ripped in 30 dvd... still on week one because last week was an epic fail with that!  Sooo week one is easier for me to do and I do everything at the advanced level but it still is challenging!  I'm excited to get into week 2 next week though!  I need to start waking up at 5 and doing my work out because Cosmo is getting the short end of the stick with her walks!  We have only been going on like 10 minute walks... I feel bad!
I walked from South station today because the train was so packed I just had to get off of it! So I did my work out plus walked a mile at a decent pace and as always I took the stairs!  I can def start to feel it in my legs... but I just want to start seeing it!  Hopefully soon or else I am in trouble!

I'm excited because tonight Andrew's family is coming over for dinner!  I haven't seen Amanda (Andrew's sister in law) in a while so it will be good to catch up and drink wine while the boys are upstairs playing video games!  I am making Spaghetti with meat sauce (but I am making the meat sauce! yum!) With italian bread and a side ceasar salad!  We have cheese and crackers to snack on!  And I am going to make Chocolate chip cookies for dessert!  Sooo not a super healthy dinner, but not too bad!  I don't have to eat the cookies and hopefully I can send them home with them... except for maybe like 3... :)

We have been thinking about getting a kitten to keep Cosmo company during the day, so hopefully we can figure that out soon so she isn't all alone during the day!  There was one that I really wanted to look at but the person never got back to me!  That was a bummer.

Not too much going on here today!  I pretty much have the same things to eat today except a vegetable soup and a cinnamon granola bar... plus I had a coffee cake... and a special k bar for breakfast... soo I guess not really the same as yesterday at all!! :)

Day 19- Let's try this one again!

Yesterday I did not blog because I literally did nothing blog worthy haha!  Except go to Petsmart and get Cosmo the cutest Halloween costume EVER!

Although she already ripped the Antennas off because she was trying to find a squeaker apparently!?!  I'm not sure but Andrew just let her rip them off because it was funny... boys!!  

So anyway, we just watched football yesterday and I got my first Fantasy win!!!  yayyy!

This morning Andrew and I's bet has officially kicked off!  I was planning on waking up at 5 to work out but obviously that didn't happen!  But I did do my ripped in 30 dvd after Cosmo's walk this morning!  It was sooo dark out today at 6!
You can kind of see a little pink from the sun!  And all the lights from across the water!  Plus it was FFREEEEZZZINNNGGGG out.
So I got back to the house and worked out and got ripped!  Then had a honey crisp apple... soo delicious, and am currently eating a peanut butter crunchy granola bar.  I'm aboslutely freezing today! bbbrrrrrr!

So, there's nothing too noteworthy going on today.  We watched Bridesmaids on Saturday night... it was sooo awkward and good lol!  But in my opinion a movie that makes you feel something is a good movie!  Also, now I am currently obsessed with "Hold on" by Wilson Phillips!  Sooo good!

I cannot wait to have my healthy harvest soup for lunch!  I'm sooooo cold.

Ohhh Saturday!

Today has been such a lazy day!  I didn't work out or anything!  But we did go look at cats today!!!  Soo cute at the Quincy Animal Shelter... Andrew reallly liked one of the cats, so we shall see!  I just really want Cosmo to have a companion during the day so she isn't alone while we are at work.

Anyway, that is pretty much it for the day today!  Plus we had some Tony's because it closes tomorrow.

I Bet you Won't Want to Bet me this Bet!

So I was thinking this morning that I needed some sort of motivation to work out!  I was thinking maybe I would have to give Andrew money or something if I didn't work out or something... but then I just realized that some days I'd rather pay than actually work out!

Sooo Miraculously, while Andrew was on his lunch break he said this via text:
"I'm gonna start working out again Monday, we should bet who gets in better shape"

Ummm whattttttttttttt?!?!  It is soooo on!  I am so strange when it comes to competition.  I was never that competitive in sports while in High School, but now I am pretty competitive with certain things!  So let's just sayyyyy that my Fantasy Team may SUCK!  But I am totally going to kick Andrew's butt because I don't need to rely on anyone else but myself for this one!  I am sooo pumped! 

This is Fantastic and totally made my day!  Isn't it the best when your significant other reads your mind and comes up with the best solution EVER?!

Best thing too is that we will both be eating Chinese this weekend... yummm!

Whoops!

Sooo let's do some math here with dates... Ripped in 30 means that I just need 30 days to be ripped... AND since I did not get out of bed this morning at 5... I am thinking maybe I will start over next week?!?!  Oh my gosh this is going to be a disaster!  But technically as long as I start by Nov 7th that gives me 4 weeks!  Ummm Sooo I guess I can take my time getting through week one haha ahhh!!  I want to try again next week!  If I start next week then that means that I will be done before thanksgiving... and I can start over again or just work on certain areas that I need to work on!

So who knows what is going to happen this weekend.. if I work out or not?!  I'm thinking I should probably just get Chinese food tonight for dinner?! (Andrew, if you're reading this... how's that sounds lol?!)

So, I couldn't figure out what I wanted for lunch yesterday so I went to the store and purchased a Select Harvest chicken noodle soup, an apple and some quaker apple and cinnamon rice cakes!  Yum!  since I still had no idea what I wanted I had a low cal red bull and some mini rice cakes for lunch... I'm so healthy!  We had grilled chicken with brown rice and corn for dinner last night.

This morning I had my Special K meal bar for breakfast and the apple I got yesterday!  It was so amazing and I have no idea what kind of apple it was!  Yumm!! 

I also walked to south station again yesterday! woo who.

So, basically what happened this morning was that I couldn't get out of bed... not like I even gave my alarm a second chance... and after Cosmo' walk I was going to do some of Ripped in 30 but the stupid PS3 wouldn't work for some reason!  So i'm not sure what's up with that, but I am not very techy so I didn't even try to fix it.

I am addicted to online shopping... it's really really bad!  Whether it's clothes or random stuff, or gift certiciates from Groupon or what not!  I usually just buy Cosmo toys, so whenever we get a package she automatically thinks it's for her!  I also got her a Michael Vick chew toy mainly because I am playing Eric this week in Fantasy Football and he has Michael Vick as his quarter back... and I plan on getting my first win!  So I don't go to 0-7!  Ugh my team is seriously having a difficult time getting started here!  But anyway my plan was for Eric to come down to watch the games and Cosmo would rip Michael Vick's head off!  1) because he deserves it bc of what he did to those poor dogs.. he's a horrible person. 2) because that's what my team will be doing to Eric's! 

Things have not been going my way lately, and I'm sure I'm partly to blame for it... but ughhhhhh!  It's starting to feel like my life is standing still while everyone elses are flying by! (No, this is not because of fantasy football... I'm not that nuts!)!  Anyway, today is going by super slow!  I think I'm just in a rut.  Thats a bummer!

I need a vacation... NOW! 
I also need a spray tan (not a Jersey shore one) and a Massage!  Luckily I have a Groupon for a massage in Quincy!!  Yay online shopping!

I hope everyone else is getting their Tone on!!!  But remember if you can't tone it, tan it!  Not like I'm giving up!  But a tan always makes me feel better!

This rain is starting to kick my butt!

I'm not sure if it's the combination of the weather and it almost being that time of the month but I am having such an issue getting out of bed!!

It sucks so bad!  But I HAVE to get out of bed tomorrow at 5 so that I can have done the work out 5 times this week!  This is what I mean by procrastinating!  It's soo bad!  I always find it easier to wake up on the weekends probably because I don't have to deal with this stupid commute and I know I can do whatever I want for the day!  I really need to own my own business!

I think I forgot to say that I walked to South Station from work Monday and Tuesday of this week, which is a little over a mile walk!  So that made me feel a little better since I'm a slacker!

Last night I had a greek salad with grilled chicken and clam chowder for dinner... I decided I didn't want to cook anything when I got home!  Good news is that Tony's closes on Sunday!  Which means that I won't be able to take a 2 min walk to get take out anymore!  Although, I won't lie... I actually drove to Tony's last night because it was raining so hard!  Ahhh Laziness! :)

So Although I didn't do my Ripped in 30 work out today, I was able to fit in my Toned in 10 min Dvd and I worked on Buns today!  I took some "before" pictures this past weekend and I think the most Unflattering part of my body in my bikini is my Butt!!  It really needs a lift and a size reduction!  So that is def my main focus and then a very very close second was my love handles!  I keep forgetting to go onto Jillian Michaels website to look up her suggested meal plan!  I need to do that!

I was thinking about doing a cleanse... but I just picture something very unpleasant when I think about that, so I'm thinking I will probably skip that! 

Anyway this morning I had a speacial k meal bar and some red bull!  Obviously the breakfast of on the road to being toned people! (yeah right) I felt like Britney Spears when she had her melt down... all you over saw her with in pictures was a red bull... what a hot mess! 

Anyway, I didn't bring my lunch today so I'll probably get soup!

Hopefully working out tomorrow!

Also, I would just like to rant for a minute!  When it is really busy in the morning OR at night on the train... and you are one of those people who lean again the train door for the whole ride (like me today)... Step off the train when ppl are trying to get off the train!  Esp at stops like south station and downtown crossing when 1/2 the train is getting off!  It's so annoying when one person is in the way... it's not like you won't be able to get back on the train!  People are nuts!

I hope the sun comes out today!!! :)

These 2 weeks have flown by!!! **spoiler alert** this is mostly a Cosmo post!

This morning I did not get up at 5.. I was too tired and the weather was so BLAH!  I am getting so pumped for our vacation!!!  October has seriously flown by, I can't believe there is less than 2 weeks left!

This morning after Cosmo's walk I went upstairs to do 50 crunches since I didn't do my work out today I figured I should do a little something!  I honestly can't remember if I even got to 50 crunches... I know that I got to 40... but then I had toys dropped on my face... along with stuffing...
So I lost track of time and actually ended up being 15 min late for work because I was playing with cosmo!  By the time I got downstairs to shower it was almost 7:15.. and I am asupposed to leave at 7:30.

Cosmo decided that she was going to work out with weights this morning I guess!  Atleast one of us was motivated to! :)

We kind of made a mess playing!  she is even laying on one of her toys at this point and LOVES to rip the stuffing out of them!  The pink and green big bone she got yesterday and that's where all the stuffing same from!  The green tube looking one she got on Monday and she already ripped one of the squeakers out!!


So although my working out was a fail this morning, my day started out great!  It's always fun starting off the day playing!  Now if I could just manage or own a doggy day care I could play allllll dayyyy!!!!!! :)

Today I had some cereal with strawberries in it w/ skim milk for breakfast!
Along with a light & fit strawberry yogurt when I got to work and a Speacial k fruit crisps- strawberry.

I have a honey crisp apple and a special k meal bar to snack on today.
I also brought a turkey and cheese sandwhich for lunch!

Not quite sure what is for dinner tonight though.. I'm thinking the Newman's Own skillet dish I have in the freezer which has chicken, veggies and pasta!  I'm thinking something easy will be good for tonight!  Maybe pick up something to go as a side! 

After Thanksgiving I am going to attempt to cut out carbs until we leave for vaca.. which is only a week and a half after thanksgiving!  I don't really know if cutting out carbs for that little amount of time will make a big difference?  But I know that it's pointless to cut them out before Thanksgiving because there is no way that I am going to even pretend to diet on one of my favorite holidays!

Also you know what is a really good song for the gym/work out session?  Drop the world with lil wayne and eminem!  It's pretty explicit but it really gets me pumped up for the day and seriously motivates me!  Some of you will probably be like wtf?  But, don't judge me because I like something you may not!

So I'm thinking that if I can push myself to get into shape then I can pretty much motivate anyone!  Soo I'm contemplating reading into becoming a personal trainer and taking the test!  I am such an Andrew copy cat... Day 13 & it's on like Donkey Kong!!!!!!!!

This morning I was up and out of bed at 5:11 am!  I did my Ripped in 30 work out and I can definitely feel the change starting to happen in my legs!  They feel like they are actually getting some muscle in them!  Although I'm not quite sure if I do all these work outs correctly!  But I am starting to feel some results and hopefully soon I will start seeing them!  Although this week is my "fat week" anyway!  So I won't see any results until next week most likely!

I am so proud of myself that I was able to get up so early!  I kept waking up throughout the night ready to go thinking it was almost 5!  I'm so weird!

So far so good today!  I feel a lot more awake and I had a bowl of cheerios! yum.

I got the Jergens firming moisturizer that also gives a gradual tan!  Who comes up with this stuff?!?!  That is seriously the most fabulous product ever!  I just get nervous that I'll keep missing a spot and there will be one spot that is not tan!  although you can barely tell a difference from natural color to the "tan" you get with this stuff!

I'm thinking I might make chicken cordon bleu tonight!  Maybe with brown rice or something?  Or a salad?  I'm not sure!  But I could definitely go for that!  Oooo maybe with baked potatoes?!?!  I seriously wish I had a bigger kitchen and 2 ovens!  I love baking and sometimes I want to cook and bake multiple things at the same time!  When I buy a house one day... (which I don't see happening for a very long time since I have no idea where we will end up) I want an awesome kitchen with 2 ovens! 

Last night Andrew and I went through a little sleeve of wheat crackers with Brie cheese!  Sooo good!

Monday's are always difficult for me! Day 12

Today I had the worst time getting out of bed!  I was so exhausted and Andrew was going into work late which just made me want to stay in bed and snuggle all morning... probaby why I was very late for work today!

Today I am not working out because I am attempting to not be too sore so I can work out tomorrow~!   This weekend was amazing and so relaxing for me!  The littlest things make me happy!  Like a good work out, and Cosmo thinking she is a lap dog and just laying on my lap like she's a 20 pound dog... but really she's that plus 80 pounds!  I love it!

I absolutely love Fall, it is probably my favorite season!  But, I say that every season because I love change... and at the same time I hate change!  It depends on what we are talking about!  For example, I should have leased my car because I got bored with it so quick! When I was younger I would constantly rearrange my bedroom!  Which is weird because I don't ever think about rearranging my room now.  I digress..

So since I didn't work out today I am trying to be a little healthier.  I had a special K protein bar for breakfast, an orange as a snack, a turkey sandwich that Andrew made me (best bf ever!) and I just had a Special K meal bar.  Sooo good! Yum- I had the chocolate and peanut butter one!  I also drank 1 bottle of water,  1 bottle of tropicana 50 lemonade, and I will probably drink this other bottle of water by the end of the night.

Andrew and I are having baked fish with lemon and panko crumbs for dinner, and steamed broccoli!  Yum!

This weekend I barely ate anything!  All I had were my meals and I was fine!  I think I am so bored at work that it makes me hungry! 

I'm excited to go home.. 1 hour and 45 min left!

So random but while I was at the store they had a stand of Boston themed postcards and one of them had the MBTA map on it, so I decided to get it for some reason! Although I ride the T every day, but I guess if I ever want to go somewhere else it will be helpful.  Who knows!

11... 11...11- One month and 18 days left

Short entry today!  I did a little more than half of the ripped in 30 days dvd today because I was sore before I started it and I became very sore while working out so I figured I would give myself a day or two to recoup and I plan to probably give myself tomorrow to recover and then start back up on Tuesday!  I am not ready for the weekend to be over yet :/
Goes by too quickly.

Anyway, food for the day has been:
low cal corn bread muffin
salad
Chicken salad sandwich
Yum.
Not sure what's for dinner yet!


Yesterday I made breakfast- bacon, eggs, sausage and english muffin
I had a bowl of honey graham cereal for lunch
and a BLT with some french fries for dinner.
 not too bad... not too great!

But I will say it's definitely healthier than Chinese Food! :)

Day 10!

Today is day 10 but I am going to start with day 9!  Soo last night I decided to drink a red bull when I got out of work so I wqas very wired for most of the night!  Soo around 11 pm I decided to do Jillian Michaels 6 week 6 pack dvd!  Holy crap!  It kicked my ass!  When watcvhing the dvd there are 2 trainers that you can follow, an easy level trainer and a more difficult level trainer.. I did a little of both!  The work out is 35 min and I got through 20 min of it.  Now, after 20 min I was sweating and seriously lacking in the work outs, so obviously some people may think it's easy peasy...but it definitely is an awesome work out!  I finally got My 30 day work out with Jillian Michaels in the mail today so I am getting ready to go in and do that in a little while!  Very excited.  I think some people may get distressed by not being able to finish the dvd but not me!  I literally worked my ass off and doing 20 minutes of her dvd is better than doing 0!  So I highly recommend this workout dvd, but some of the moves I find a little tricky.  Well actually just one, where you are balancing on one arm with the other in the air and you take your top leg and cross it over your bottom leg and then you have to lift it up in the air...it'sa pretty diffuclt to explain but if you do the work out you will know what I am talking about! 

Anyway I am going to go do my new work out dvd and I will report back either later today or tomorrow!

Ok!  I just did Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30!!  I am in love <<<333!!!!  So amazing!  It wasn't TOO difficult.. although I did get a leg/but cramp! Ouchie!  But other than that I loved it and I pretty much was able to push myself through the entire 37 minutes!  The best part is that it is broken into 4 week segments and you are supposed to do each week segment 5 to 6 times a week!  It gets even better!  Not only did I get a serious sweat on but I also have 3 more completely different work outs to look forward to in the upcoming weeks!  She does not repeat any of her moves at all in the different weeks!  So for example... Week one features some push ups... I should not see push ups in weeks 2, 3 or 4!!!  Woo who!  And I LOVE the fact that I have the whole week to advance my work out!  Today I was generally doing the beginner segments but later in the week I will be able to push myself to do the advanced (HOPEFULLY!).  I am seriously IN LOVE with this DVD.  Hopefully I truly will be RIPPED IN 30! 

Now I just have to buckle down and eat healthy.. (mmm doubtful but I will try my hardest!)

Day 9 is raining.. again.

Today is finally Friday!  This week seems to have been so long yet gone by so quickly at the same time!  It's weird how that works!

Today I had a special K bar for breakfast and did my 10 minute work out!  Today was thighs!  My legs must be very out of shape (which I can tell by looking at them) because I always have a tough time with that work out!

Anyway today I am going to keep it short.

Sooo right now I am very pumped!  I was just reading the reviews to some of Jillian Michaels work out Dvd's
6 week 6 pack and Ripped in 30 and I am so pumped to start working out with these on Monday! (hopefully!!)  I plan on getting up at 5 am to do them! Yikes!  I'm assuming they will really kick my butt so most likely I will start off with Jillian Michaels 6 week 6 pack!

Today is an ABSolutely miserable Day 8!

Today is so rainy!  Yuck!  I had to turn cosmos collar light on this morning so I could see her becaue it was so dark on our walk!  Also, it seems as though Ochocinco may start to actually get some fantasy points!  Unfortunately I dropped him last week because he was not getting me any points!  Oh well, what a bummer!

Obviously I royally suck at eating healthy!  Especially since Andrew and I got Chinese food last night!  I also had a scorpian bowl while waiting for our take out!  So let's just say this eating healthy thing is not going so well! 

Luckily for me today is a new day, so I had a light & fit yogurt and did abs today!  And I could definitely feel the burn while doing the work out!  So that's a plus!  Now I just have to figure out what is going to be for dinner tonight... probably some sort of healthy chicken dish or something!

I have my pb&j for lunch today because I wanted soup yesterday but settled for pasta primavera with wine sauce!  Yummm <3!  Although I have a feeling my pb&j will be a little soggy, so maybe the Golden Goose will have the soup I want today!

I guess I'm just making up for all the miserable people on the train today... because they could really use some exclamation points in their lives!

Today has been the longest day!  I was straving earlier, so I ate my gross pb&j that I failed to eat yesterday... pb&j is not very good the second day!  So, after that fail I went to the golden goose and they didn't have the soup I wanted.. another fail!  So I settled for their fresh baked turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy... needless to say now I am so sleepy :( !!!  I cannot wait to go to bed!

Day 7- Yup, well that didn't take very long!

Well today is quite the failure!  Let me start from last night!  I got home and cooked baked chicken with caribbean jerk seasoning!  Sooo spicy! So I ate it with ranch dressing!  I also made homemade mashed potatoes and I made baked sweet potatoes for Andrew & he said they were really good!  But then again, the first time I ever cooked for him I caught the steak tips on fire so it was like chewing charcoal and he still ate them and told me they were good!  That's when I  knew he was a keeper!  Obviously I set the smoke alarm off last night, to which Andrew yelled "Dinner must almost be ready." haha and he was right!  It was almost done!

Well my down fall started once Andrew picked me up from the train and said he was going to the liquor store, so I decided to pick up 2 bottles of white wine!   I had 2 glasses of the Hogue late harvest reisling! (It's very good)!  I know I wasn't planning on drinking but yesterday was so miserable for me!  So I decided to have a drink or two to relax!

This morning I was SO exhausted!  I took Cosmo for her walk and the guy who walks his dog the same time I walk Cosmo was talking about Politics the whole time.  Those of you who know me know I LOVE a great discussion about Politics (Sarcasm).  I hate when people talk about Politics because they get so angry and heated and I don't follow Politics because I choose to be ignorant in this area because I just don't care.  What's the point of having my own opinion when everyone else just shoves theirs down my throat and will yell at me if my opinion is different than theirs?!  So anyway... my morning started out awesome!  Then I just couldn't get motivated to work out because I was so tired!  So I had some rice crispies & got ready for work!  

So now I am at work on my break and I think that my days would be a lot better if I could bring Cosmo to work with me.  I could set up her bed right behind my desk and she could just hang out and sleep all day long!  Then on lunch we could go to the park and walk around the water.  One day I will have a job where I can bring my dog to work!  Hopefully that day will not be too far down the road and it will be my own business!

Anyway, enough with the random thoughts for now!  I can't wait to go eat my pita bread peanut butter and jelly sandwhich that I brought for lunch... I really need to remember to get bread at the store tonight!

Anyway!  Hopefully I don't turn into an icecube before tomorrow!

Day 6- Believe in the results!

About 2 years ago I was in really great shape, and it just fit right into my schedule.  I was working from 10:30-7 and went to the gym right after work and then went home ate dinner, showered and went to bed.  I was to the point where I felt a pang of guilt if I didn't go to the gym!  And I believed that I was getting in shape and I did.  For me results are like those people who are in focus groups and some get the Advil to cure their headache and some get the placebo... and a lot of times the placebo will cure someones headache because they think it is advil.  Or better yet... a 16 year old who is drinking O'Douls and becomes fall over drunk after 3 beers.  So therefore I think that if I keep positive and stay optimistic that I will see great results!  Or atleast I hope!

When I took Cosmo for her walk this morning the sunrise was so beautiful (I'll post pictures below)! 
Then I went home and did my 10 minute workout, and today was "Buns"!  Luckily my arms don't feel like they are going to fall off today!  But my legs always seem to feel the burn!  Which is good because they are my major problem area.. including my "buns"!  I have like a bakers dozen on my backside, and I would really like to cut that dozen down!  Tomorrow I am doing abs!  Which is also another area that I really want to focus on... since I have more rolls than a bakery!  (Decided to go with the bakery lingo today) 

So yesterday I broke down and went to starbucks and got one of their amazing brownies... SO GOOD! And I also got a medium black iced tea lemonade sweetened!  Delicious!  I hate whenever I say medium and they are like grande? or whatever lingo matches the sizes!  I'm like obviously you know what I mean!  I just feel really ridiculous using their lingo!  Also, I feel like I need to bring a lap top in there just to order!  EVERYONE in there is on their computer... do these people not have internet at their house or office? Or do they get better ideas by having people look at them and be like oh wow... look at them they are so important because they are writing in public!  What I really think their reasoning is, is that they forgot to pay their comcast bill and their internet got shut off!  I think I'll bring a desktop computer down there and set it up... would that be weird?  I think it would be hilarious!  (I hope Dane Cook isn't reading this... he's going to steal my jokes!) haha 

So I digress~!  After my epic fail with the 300 calorie brownie and 170 calorie tea I got out of work early!  Love those days!

I cooked beef tacos with brown rice/lettuce/tomatoes for dinner and I had fresh raspberries for dessert!  Soo good :)  I'm not sure if any of this is really truely healthy but I am sure it is healthier than my diet before! 
I have been starving this week... I'm assuming it's because I have been more active and working out!  But this morning I had a strawberry special K bar before I worked out, then when I got in the office I had the strawberry special k crisp things.  Then I was too lazy to peel my orange so I had my 100 calorie back of brownies (probably not the best idea)!  But I am still kind of hungry.. and still too lazy to peel my orange!  I'm blaming that on my arm workout from yesterday though!  Who wants to peel an orange for 5 minutes when I did like 15 push ups yesterday and a bunch of other work outs!

I cannot wait to do abs tomorrow!  I really want to do my Jillian Michaels 6 pack in 6 weeks, but I haven't been able to get myself out of bed at 5:15 yet to do the work out.  I mean that's 5:15, 4 or 5 times a week for 6 weeks!  That's craziness!  I could say I'd work out after work but I know that is not going to happen!  I'm too tired from dealing with all the awesome people I deal with everyday.  By awesome people I mean the people who run me over with strollers trying to get off the train, the people who don't get out of the way when people are trying to get off the train, the gross people who clip their nails while waiting for the train, the people who cough all over everyone and don't cover their mouth, the people who hate everyone and are just rude, the guy in front of me at the 12 items or less lane that has atleast 20 items and needs have a full out conversation with the cashier and take an hour to slide his debit card, my neighbor who refuses to get a trash bin of his own so he uses our trash, and stacks so much stuff in it that we can't fit our own trash in their, then plays baseball in the street with his son and hit my car with the baseball and tells me it's not a big deal instead of apologizing!  Well, now that I've got that off my chest!  All of that stress throughout the week makes me just want to drink a bottle of wine to just relax!  But, instead of wine... I have been washing the dishes a lot more!  Whatever is theraputic I guess!

Day 5- Always be optimistic

The only word to describe yesterday is Perfect.  It was just amazing... minus Cosmo demolishing our screen because that was scary and she was on edge for the rest of the day, she did not like that guy!  Also, I am very unlucky in fantasy football this year... I cannot catch a break!  Stupid Eric Decker got me 0 points.  What a jerk! haha

Anyway, today I am working which is fine because there weren't very many people on the T so I got a seat!  Yay!  The little things matter a lot with me :)

The sun rise was really pretty this morning!
I love walking Cosmo because it is usually so peaceful! This morning I had frosted mini wheats for breakfast with skim milk and Then I worked out with that dvd again, but this time I did arms, and I did the whole work out!  No cheating today!  So I'm pretty sure my arms are going to feel like they are going to fall off tomorrow!  Bring it! and I'll make sure I bring the advil... what up! haha  I also had time to make my lunch this morning (Salami and cheese in a pita pocket with mustard!  yum) and I brought an orange to work to snack on!  I need to start consuming more Vitamin C!

I have a feeling that today is going to go by extremely slow!  Especially because I have a feeling that the mail is not going to get delivered today... But it really feels like it's 11 and it's barely 9:30! 

Soo much for being optimistic!  haha jk I still am!  The weather is too gorgeous not to be!

Almost forgot!  I did NOT set the smoke alarm off last night while baking!  1 point for me!

I cannot wait for Barbados!  -Ta ta for now!

Day 4, My dog just tried to jump through the screen door

Today is football day!  Yay Patriots & my Fantasy football players! Woo who! 
Word to the wise... be wary when ringing someones door bell because they might have a massive dog who tries to jump through the screen!  That was my excitement for the day.. and there are a few negative things with this whole jumping through the screen issue.  (And for those of you wondering, she is fine!) 
Issue 1: We rent
Annoying issue 2: I was literally standing in the kitchen 5 feet away from the door.. no need for the doorbell!
Issue 3:  They wanted information about a vehicle that is not ours! 
The plus to this situation is that it's starting to get cold so we won't want to use the screen door for much longer anyway!  But I keep laughing because I was cutting up a pineapple so not only did Cosmo try to eat this guy.. (he literally jumped back 5 feet) I also answered the door with a knife lol!  He was probably like what the hell?  These bitches are crazy! Below is the screen!

I think the weekends are going to be my skip days and I'll work out during the week!  5 out of 7 isn't bad!  But I am definitely working on eating healthier!  Last night I had a tuna fish sub for dinner... which is better than pizza and bacon chicken and cheese salad!  So that's a plus!  Tonight we are having baked chicken parm with whole wheat pasta! ...I love baking but I set the fire alarm off everytime I cook!  Even this morning!  I think it's the oven! lol :)

This morning I made Andrew and I bacon, egg and cheese on english muffins!  Yum!  Except I definitely could have cooked the bacon a little longer!  Then lunch was some fresh pineapple!  Which is really delicous right now!  I went to the grocery store and got healthy lunches and snacks for the week! Very very exciting!

This morning we took Cosmo for her walk and took her to get a bath!  We always go to Petco Unleashed!  I love it there, it's only $10 to giver her a bath and they provide you with everything you need!  We also let Cosmo pick out her own toy, and she decided on a yellow sheep that squeaks!  She brought it up to the register with her and everything!  Such a good girl!

I feel really great today!  I think I am just getting excited to hopefully get my tone on!  Once I start taking better care of myself I think I will be a lot happier with myself... atleast I hope so!  Which will be a plus because I have been such a basket case lately!  I have more issues than a dentists office! (not really, but I have been waiting to use that one ;)!!)

Well wish me luck with my fantasy team!  Last year Andrew asked me to play because they only had 9 people... and I ended up winning the league-  with the help of Andrew at the beginning, but I did end up beating him in the playoffs all by myself!  This year, I am not so lucky... Currently my team is 0-4... so lame!  I have been very unlucky... last week I was winning by 25 and the person I played just had their defense left to play.. and they got 32 freaking points!!!!!!  That does not happen!  So I'm really hoping to turn my luck around!

Oh yeah!  My song of the day today is: Semi-charmed life by Third eye blind (just loving the beat today, nothing to do with the lyrics).  I heard it on my way to the grocery store!  Windows open & music blasting= love!

 I've also got moves like Jagger!

Day 3.. Is it bad that my 10 minute work out kicked my @$$????? OUCH!

I have good and bad news!  Good news is that I can feel results from doing those 10 minute work outs since I can barely walk today!  Bad news is that I can barely walk today!  Seriously?!  A 10 minute beginner video kicked my butt and I even skipped some of the lunges... this is what I get for cheating while working out I guess!  Anyway, poor me! wah. 

Now that I am temporarily done feeling bad for myself and ouch-ified legs (until Andrew wakes up) I can get on with my blogging!  I have never been good at dieting... EVER because I am way too impulsive and if I want something I have to have it!  Which was fine when I was 18 and had a amazing metabolism... I could literally eat whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted!  One time a girl told me to "eat something" like it would offend me... really?  You want me to eat something?... I just ate a whole large pizza from papa ginos in 15 minutes by myself!  So I took her "insult" as a really great compliment.... obviously!  Who gets offended by someone calling them skinny?  Lol Anyway...  Unfortunately my metabolism has seriously put the brakes on which is wicked annoying!  So instead of burning off all these calories and stuff they are stored pretty much everywhere except where a girl could use some help!  Help out these B's!  But no such dice and such is life!  If that were the case plastic surgery would go out of business!  Because people could just eat a cheese burger and those A's would become almost B's!!  Seriously?  Who says blondes don't have good ideas?!  Pssssht!!!

So to recap yesterday I had a yogurt for breakfast, a lean cuisine lasagna florentine for lunch, and did not snack at all and then for dinner I had a couple pieces of cheese pizza and some chicken, bacon, and cheese salad... Which was really good!  But was not very healthy!  I just get so lazy and don't feel like cooking sometimes, and I was STARVING!  Which leads me to my realization that I need to get some healthy snacks to bring to work to snack on during the day!  I am thinking maybe I'll get some apples and oranges at the grocery store!  I really wish I had a farmers market close by!  Anyone know of one in the Quincy area?!  Although it's pretty much almost out of season for farmers markets, that's one thing I really miss about living in the "country"!!!  I tried Skinny Girl Sangria last night!  I will say, I usually hate those premade drinks... but it wasn't horrible! 

I failed at signing up for the gym Friday... maybe Monday!  I also forgot my gym clothes on Friday... so that didn't really help my cause!  I will try to remember on Monday though!  I probably won't work out today.. maybe tomorrow but definitely next week!

Day 2- I am sooo out of shape!!!!!!!

Good morning!  So today is day 2, but kind of day 1.  My goals last night were to eat a healthy dinner and to sign up for the gym today.  As for the whole healthy dinner part, I had a BLT on wheat bread and some boneless buffalo tenders with blue cheese.  I always feel healthier eating my sandwiches on wheat bread but I read that I might as well eat white bread because the only bread that is really healthy is the multi grain... but I don't like the little nuts and seeds or whatever they are in my bread... it's a little creepy!  So any how!  I also had some watermelon beer because the Bruins were on... and let's face it once you are of legal age to drink (obviously ;) ) then you kind of need to drink during the Bruins season opener! Although my goal is to cut out or almost cut out alcohol for the next 1 month 27 days so that I can get the best results.. or some results! ha

I am so proud of myself!  This morning Andrew (the boyfriend) was ready to go to work early so I dropped him off at the train and was back at the house by 6 am!  Then I took Cosmo (the dog) for her usual walk on the beach, and we played a little... she's probably always my favorite person (dog...)!  THEN, I got home and really shocked myself... I decided to WORK OUT!  Are you shocked?  Because I was/am... I guess this whole blogging thing is really working out for me!  I popped in my Toned in 10 dvd for beginners, and did the 10 minute work out for thighs!  I even almost worked up a sweat!  Go me! THEN after I worked out for a whole 10 minutes and 18 seconds (minus the 6 lunges I couldn't bare to do) I decided to do some crunches!  My goal was 50... but when you have a 100 pound (yeah, she lost weight) dog who decides that around 25 crunches it's time to snuggle, then you know I was lucky to do 30 crunches!  And if you are thinking... "snuggle?", just look at my blog picture thing... that morning I was also trying to do crunches!  lol

Well I am off to a good start and just finished my raspberry light & fit yogurt... not so bad for 9 am!  Now time to do some work I suppose!

Ps- Writing this blog has me feeling like I'm Lily & my blog is Marshall from how I met your Mother... (Because I am telling my blog everything about my day... get it?!  I know it's early!  Hop to it people!!)

Day 1- Muffin tops are delicious but not on your hips.

I have 1 month and 28 days until I leave for Barbados.  It has been my goal to get toned up since January, so I guess you can say I'm a little bit of a procrastinator, although I would like to call it ADD.  It has been my goal all week to wake up at 5 am and work out... well, that goal did not happen.  I would like to say that my work out started yesterday when I ran to catch my train in the morning... and missed it, and then at night too.  I have also been attempting to eat healthier... although I did have a cinnamon poptart for breakfast this morning, so I'm not sure it that consists of healthy especially with my Cup o' soup I had for lunch!  Gotta love it!  So anyway, I'm going to attempt to blog about my life for the next 1 month and 28 days and hopefully gain some support on my little goal to tone the hell up so I can run around in a bikini and not feel self conscious! 
My goal for tonight is to have a healthy dinner
My goal for tomorrow is to sign up for the gym by my work... and possibly work out!
